Phil currently lives in Palo Alto, California, with his wife Kathy and two sons, Phillip III and Nicholas.
With ambitions to be the greatest poker player to ever play the game, Phil Hellmuth may not have far to go with having eleven World Series wins currently under his belt.
Born in Madison Wisconsin, Phil has been playing poker since he graduated from the University of Wisconsin.
In 1989 by the time he was 24, he had won his first World Series Poker title. This made Phil the youngest player to ever achieve this title.
He has since continued to win dozens more tournaments internationally, including The World’s Biggest Seven-Card Stud Tournament in Austria and Late Night Poker in Great Britain.
Phil holds five World Poker Tour Top-Ten finishes. His achievements are as tall as the man himself. Phil was even voted the “best all-around tournament poker player in the world” by his fellow poker players.
He was also named the “Poker-Icon” by both Oakley Eyewear and EA Sports. Hellmuth is known to endorse only top quality products such as the Phil Hellmuth Chip Set.
Also coming down the line will be Phil Hellmuth apparel also a Phil Hellmuth Poker Table. To top it all off, Beacon Pictures intends to make a movie based on Phil’s life.
The movie will be titled, “The Madison Kid”. If that’s not enough, the Game Show Network is planning on creating a reality show called “Winner Takes All”, which will star Phil Hellmuth himself.
When Phil was recently invited to London to compete in the Premiership of Poker, he was impressed with television coverage and that it was going to hit 21-41 different countries.
So he saw it as a good chance to get some more International exposure. After all, he sells books, DVD's, calendars (JFTurner.com), endurance drinks (drinkproplayer.com), his new MP4 poker course (blackbeltphil.com), and much more to folks worldwide.
Since poker is rapidly growing more and more popular in Europe, especially in the UK, Eastern Europe and now China where the new James Bond movie is set and ESPN are carrying the no limit Hold'em torch.

This following his first two successful books; “Bad Beats and Lucky Draws”, which hit stores in 2004, following his very first book, “Play Poker Like the Pros”, which climbed to the top of The New York Times Bestseller list and was also translated into Czech and French.
He is also in the process of writing his autobiography titled, "Poker Brat". Another way Phil has decided to share his poker knowledge is with the instructional video; "Phil Hellmuth's Million Dollar Poker System."
He has teamed up with Summus on a Phil Hellmuth's Texas Hold-em poker cell phone game which has become popular on Verizon and has ranked #10 of all games available at Verizon's virtual store. It also currently ranks second in the Casino game category.

Phil Hellmuth has more than 50 poker tournament titles plus an incredible 11 World Series of Poker bracelets. Again, he has won dozens more tournaments internationally including The World’s Biggest Seven-Card Stud Tournament in Austria and Late Night Poker in Great Britain.
